Excerpt of article text...
Xojo 2025 Release 1 shipped in late March, with a follow-up 1.1 in April. Major features include:
* Linux ARM IDE: Yes, this means you can now run Xojo on a Raspberry Pi. Ideally, you'll want to choose a Pi with 8GB of RAM for the best performance.
* Direct Publishing to App Connect: You can now publish your Mac and iOS apps directly to App Connect from Xojo. You'll still have to set up your profiles and certificates with Apple, but signing and submitting is now integrated, making it much easier to get your apps into App Connect for submission to TestFlight or the App Store.
* Improved IDE Toolbars: The IDE toolbars have been enhanced. You can now hide the captions to save screen space and make things look more like other development tools. Windows uses a smaller toolbar, and both Windows and Linux feature more modern-looking Bootstrap icons. The toolbar on the Documentation window is now more compact to save screen space.
* Automatic Windows Menu for Mac Desktop Apps: Mac desktop apps now automatically get a working Windows menu, reducing the amount of work you need to do for this common feature.
* ICU Libraries for Windows Apps: Windows apps now use the ICU (International Components for Unicode) libraries that are built into Windows itself, significantly reducing the size of your built apps.
